My favourite Funky Monks are back again and this time round there’s a new face and new attitude album drops 30th august worldwide (26th aus.)
This is greatest little unknown place to eat… The food is great, it’s in sth Melbourne located on park st off Clarendon St. It’s only open from 11:30am - 2:30pm mon-fri so u gotta get in quick. It’s a great little place run by a sweet little old japanese couple, the look of the place is extremely basic with little nick nacks that give off the feeling that ur actually in some small back alley shop in japan. There’s some great little rules when ur ordering: •cash only •opening hours only •no toilet •when food is gone… It’s gone
I suggest my favourite “curry chicken with rice” it has that old grandma style taste which it basically is… They also have a great little sushi range that’s not “mass” made in the morning and left sitting there all day… The bonus to the short opening hours means that all the food there is fresh, it’s literally only just served up before they open… Check it out if ur around … If not it’s well worth the trip to find it… look out for the impressive origami as well
